Arm flab: What are the best exercises to eliminate it?
I feel very self-conscious when I wear sleeveless tops. What are the best exercises to tone my upper arms?
Exercises that focus on your biceps and triceps are particularly effective for increasing muscle tone and definition. When you do them regularly, you will rid yourself of the dreaded flab under your arm that jiggles when you wave (flabby arms).
The secret to successful toning is regularity. Do the following exercises every other day for several months and you will love the results. It’s finally time to pull out those sexy, sleeveless tops!
- Biceps curl. Choose a weight you can lift only for 15 repetitions before you have to rest. Hold the weights comfortably in your hands with arms at your side. Keep you elbows tucked firmly against your body and slowly raise and lower your forearms. Do three sets of 15 repetitions.
- Triceps dip. Find a sturdy chair. Face away from the chair and place the heels of your hands on the edge of the seat. Walk your feet away from you until there is about 2 feet distance from your hands to your feet. Slowly lower your body down for a count of five and then rise. Do three sets of 15 repetitions.
