BMI is a measure of body weight relative to height and is often correlated with an individual's body fat content. It is also a good measure of your health risk. According to the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute guidelines, a BMI of 25 to 29.9 is considered overweight, while a BMI of 30 and above is considered obese.
