Day 14
Amazing! another lb. down since friday, bringing my total weight loss in two weeks to 6 lbs, I am now 187 lbs this morning. I really feel much more energy and more confident. I have another interview too!
Rather than go into my dishes and what I ate today, I am going to comment on weighing in twice a day. At first I thought it was the dumbest thing of all, but I have went over to the other side on this one. I thought that my weight would fluctuate with various bodily functions and what I ate, which is somewhat true but I get a TRUE measure of my weight since I am constantly weighing myself and I do not see the fluctuations as a problem since they are quickly revised with the next weigh in. Yesterday I thought I had gained a half pound, but I got on the scale last night and the half pound gain was gone and I was back on track. Then this morning I had lost a pound from friday. It all worked out. if I had only weighed in once in a month, then my weight could have been the wrong weight and I would be stuck with that weight and not the true weight, which I see 9 out of 10 times that I weigh. I think that it is just an excuse for people not to weigh in and JUSTIFY THEIR WEIGHT AND BAD HABITS.
Another thing straight from the book (by the way, there is some good stuff in the book!), the weighing in twice a day is a good thing. They call it cycle of success. You see your weight, then you work all day to lose weight and then you see it in the scale that night or at least the next morning, it gives you something to look forward to and not something you can't see or have to wait until christmas on, you see it right then and there, it is great instant feedback. When you are bad, you see it and not this crap about waiting a month to see results, you see them right away.
