We have a lot of things to catch up on, so let's get to it!
I am now a working mom, the office is so nice to me and I really enjoy it. My first day they took me out to lunch (baked flounder, rice, and vegetables) and I am getting to meet some great people. The office building is very nice and I am learning a lot about my job and what I am supposed to do. My guilt is in the afternoon when I used to be with Josh and Emily, but now, they are a bit older and I have to reestablish myself. There is a small exercise room at the office that I am signing up to use, I want to start on monday with the treadmill and working out with weights twice a week to start toning up.
I prepared everynight for the day ahead. I packed my snacks and lunch when I was taking it. granola bars and trail mix were the norm. Next week I want to find something a bit more filling in the afternoon for those last minute pushes when I need energy. I also am finding that we eat a couple of hours later since I am not home to prepare dinner and the kids are also in need of some healthier snacks to tide them over.
As for my update, I am down another lb. prior to thanksgiving. All bets are off after yesterday, but I didn't weigh in today. I really was afraid to see the scale. But I am also traveling and the scale is different, so I am taking the rest of the weekend off, not from my diet or posting, but from weighing in. Danny and the kids are upstairs (we stayed at his parents for thanksgiving) and want me to forget my diet this weekend. I did enjoy the holiday meal like the book said, but I don't want to give back all of the weight I have lost. I am going to get right back in the saddle today and do well.
On Wednesday, we drove about 5 hours, it would normally be about 4 but we dealt with holiday traffic. It was the BK drive through for dinner. I hated to do it, but I agreed and got a newmans salad with grilled chicken. Yesterday, I think I had over 3500 calories. I am still digesting the meals and I am still full. I will write tomorrow on how I rebounded today.
