eDiets Day 3
Day three and I am still diligently on my ediet plan. I missed my lunch workout because of a business meeting and was really dragging and hungry at the end of the day, but found the will power to go workout anyway. It's a good thing I did because while I started a little slow, once I got going the workout turned out to be great. At the end of the workout I hit my week weight goal of 180lbs (down 2-3 pounds already). Of course I need to get my weight to be 180 before my workout so I don't get the "sweat loss" advantage, but I can honestly say I have really lost more than a full pound of unwanted fat in just 3 days. I can already see and feel the weight loss on my body. My favorite part of the diet so far is that it has dramatically improved the cooking of my girlfriend and I. The recipes are simple, fresh, and taste great! When you eat fresh, healthy food consistently, you body begins to adjust for it and crave it almost like a person normally craves chocolate or chips. I am no doctor, but I believe in order to make this happen it is necessary to think positively about the food and make it a habit. Don't cheat here and there and kill your momentum! In order to give myself short term goals, I have said that when I get half way (175) to my target weight of 167 (183-167 = 16 total pounds and half of that is 8 pounds lost) that I will reward myself with either a new pair of running shoes or a day at the spa. Note that I do not use food as a reward for myself because that would defeat the whole purpose of changing my lifestyle. Keep cheering me on for the next 5 pounds!
